Ralston/Westside Select Substitute Teacher Program

The Ralston and Westside school districts are currently accepting applications for candidates interested in participating in the districts' Select Substitute Teacher Program.  The Select Substitute Teacher Program is a pilot project between both districts which will offer continuous, daily employment as a substitute teacher for the duration of the spring semester.  Candidates who are selected for this program will have the opportunity to gain experience as a professional, learn instructional strategies from veteran educators, and learn about the culture of both districts.  This program is designed to provide teachers with an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents over the course of the spring semester for possible full-time employment in the future.

All candidates must currently hold or be eligible for a Nebraska teaching certificate, and meet the selection criteria of both the Ralston and Westside school districts.  Preference will be given to candidates who have the ability to teach in a wide range of subject areas and/or grade levels.
