POSITION: Part-Time Driver, Access 66 Catering

DEPARTMENT:  Nutrition Services

Hours:  Part-time, day or evening or a combination

Job Summary:  The Utility Person/Driver will help in the kitchen, deliver food and/or beverages to off-site locations, set up and serve catered events, and wash dishes and put away supplies after events.

Job Responsibilities:

Multiple tasks include but are not limited to:

• Driving food sensitive deliveries of both non-prepared food goods, as well as hot and cold prepared food product to locations within a specified timed allotted. ?
• Good time management skills ?
• Cleaning of kitchen and equipment as required ?
• Ability to work with school staff, students and community ?
• Self-directed and managed ?
• Other duties as may be assigned ?
• Loading, unloading, driving cargo van or box truck
• Serving catered events
• Completing general kitchen duties as assigned by chef

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Ability to take direction
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record

Preferred:  Experience in restaurant, school kitchen or catering environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to stand on feet to perform job responsibilities
• Ability to bend and reach to load and unload van or truck
• Ability to pass WorkFit physical evaluation
