Positon: Executive Assistant
Reports to: Foundation President
Description:
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy of data entry and quality of work product. Well-developed skills in written, verbal communication and technology are essential. Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects as well as work independently. Candidate must be able to communicate with donors, parents and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities:
- Maintain spreadsheets for all donations, expenses, grants, and scholarships
- Work with the district on scholarship paperwork, checks and certificates
- Create correspondence; including thank you letters and other documents
- Handle bank deposits promptly
- Provide support for campaigns, awards, reunion groups and other events
- Maintain accurate records in donor database
- Maintain the utmost confidentiality
- Assist with all facets of any Foundation event (mailings, lists, RSVPs, data entry, name tags, bid sheets etc.)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
- Strong writer with excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn industry specific software
- Ability to keep website current
- Knowledge of social media
- Expert with Microsoft Office products
- Proficient in management of donor database
- Ability to maintain workflow and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to work independently; as well as in a team environment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years office experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong sense of ethics
- Strong organizational skills
- Good problem solving skills
